For decades, New Zealand-bred standardbreds have performed at an elite level on the world stage demonstrating their strength, stamina and Group One-winning abilities in both hemispheres. In recent seasons, NZB Standardbred’s very own graduates have added to that lineage of success, dominating on racetracks across Australasia.
Headlined by graduates such as Akuta (NZ), B D Joe (NZ), Coastal Babe (NZ), Cold Chisel (NZ), Don’t Stop Dreaming (NZ), Merlin (NZ), Millwood Nike (NZ), Montana DJ (NZ), Rock N Roll Doo (NZ), Krug (NZ), Rubira (NZ), Where’s The Gold (NZ) and more, the Sale has become an incredible source of racetrack stars.
All horses purchased at the Sale are eligible for NZB Standardbred’s lucrative Harness Million Sales Race Series. The Series consists of principal two-year-old and three-year-old races for colts and geldings, fillies and trotters individually, where NZB Standardbred graduates can contest for their share in a one million dollar prizepool.
