All Aged Sale Delivers Strong Results

In addition to 48 lots sold at last week’s Christchurch Sale, a further 120 lots have changed ownership today with the Auckland Sale concluding NZB Standardbred’s 2019 All Aged Sale. A turnover of $1,573,700 was reached for the 168 lots sold over two days of trading in both locations. The average closed at $8,110 with the clearance rate a healthy 83%.

Dual Code Sale Well-received by Market

New Zealand Bloodstock forged a new path today, hosting its first dual code auction of thoroughbred and standardbred horses. Following 61 thoroughbred lots that went under the hammer this morning, a further 71 standardbred lots were offered as part of NZB's 2019 All Aged Sale in Christchurch.

Outstanding Late Yearling Entries for Auckland All Aged Sale

New Zealand Bloodstock’s All Aged Sale to be held at Karaka on Monday 6 May has received three late yearling entries. All three horses were purchased at the National Yearling Sale at Karaka on 18 February.

To be consigned by Hollis and Robertson Equine Services, there are three yearlings.

Entries are Now Open for Inaugural Ready to Run Sale

14 October Addington Raceway

Entries for NZB Standardbred’s inaugural Ready to Run Sale of 2YOs to be held at Addington Raceway on Monday 14 October 2019 are now open. The breeze ups for the South Island 2YOs are to be held at Ashburton Raceway on 16 September and for the North Island 2YOs at Cambridge Raceway on 23 September. These 2YOs will be required to trial over 400m and will be electronically timed over 400m and 200m.
