National Standardbred Yearling Sale, Auckland

The Auckland session of NZB Standardbred’s 2023 National Yearling Sale was held at the Karaka Sales Centre on Sunday 19 February. At the close of selling during the opening session, 85 lots sold for a total turnover of $5,116,000. The average finished at $60,905, with the median closing at $46,750 and the clearance rate settled at 69%.

All horses purchased at the Sale are eligible for the NZB Standardbred Harness Million Series, with approximately $1 million in prizemoney on offer for graduates of the Yearling Sale Series.
