Youre So Fine (NZ) (Always B Miki) made it stakes success number three when speeding to victory in the A$35,000 Four-Year-Old Classic (2185m) at Pinjarra on Monday.

The NZB Standardbred graduate kept up his outstanding strike rate when charging to the line to win the Western Australian feature for trainer Gary Hall Snr and driver Gary Hall Jnr.

You’re So Fine was purchased for just $14,000 by Southland trainer Brett Gray when he was offered among the Ripple Creek Farm draft at the 2020 National Yearling Sale in Christchurch.

Gray selected the pacer for the M C C Syndicate who raced him in New Zealand before retaining a share in him following his transfer to the Gary Hall Snr stable.

Youre So Fine set a New Zealand record in his win in the Group Two Diamond Creek Farm Stakes (2200m) at Ascot Park before crossing the Tasman.

The Hall stable had produced Youre So Fine to win the Listed Marathon Handicap (3309m) in Australia, with the pacer also adding Monday’s Four-Year-Old Classic to his impressive resume.

The New Zealand bred’s three black-type wins are among his 11 career victories from just 19 starts.

Along the way, Youre So Fine has banked over A$184,000 – more than 13 times his bargain purchase price of $14,000.

Gary Hall Jnr produced a typically brilliant tactical drive to score with You’re So Fine.

Hall took the bold move of handing away the lead in the early stages of the Four-Year-Old Classic.

It proved to be a winning manoeuvre as Youre So Fine pulled away from his opposition to win, once he got into clear air on the home turn.

The victory was Gary Hall Snr’s second stakes race win in four days with an NZB Standardbred graduate.

Hall also produced Skylou (NZ) for a big win in the A$200,000 Group One Western Australian Derby (2536m), last Friday.
