In a remarkable endorsement of the New Zealand standardbred, New Zealand-breds won all eight races held at the home of New South Wales harness racing.

NZB Standardbred Stellar Arden (NZ) (Bettor’s Delight) was among the wave of New Zealand-breds to hit the Menangle track on Saturday night.

The mare added to her fine racetrack record when scoring an excellent 1.52.2 mile win for trainer Jack Trainor and driver Jack Brown.

Stellar Arden was offered at the 2019 National Yearling Sale at Christchurch by breeder-vendors Arden Lodge.

The mare was a consistent performer in New Zealand for trainer Grant Payne.

Stellar Arden has added another four victories to her record in Australia, plus clocking Saturday night’s career-best 1.52.2 mile rate.

Saturday night’s free-for-all winner Mynameisjeff (NZ) (Art Major) was sold as a yearling in New Zealand before the establishment of NZB Standardbred in 2019.

Mynameisjeff made it five wins in his last six starts when running to a 1.50.2 victory for trainer Jason Grimson and driver Cameron Hart.

Similarly, One Majic Kenny (NZ) (Majestic Son) was also purchased at a New Zealand yearling sale before making his way across the Tasman.

The trotter added a thirteenth win to his impressive record when charging home from off the pace to win for trainer Blake Fitzpatrick and driver Gavin Fitzpatrick.

Janarty (NZ) (Art Major), The Croupier (NZ) (Roll With Joe), Unfazed (NZ) (Auckland Reactor), Red Right Hand (NZ) (Art Major) and Rakadan (NZ) (He’s Watching) also added to the clean sweep by New Zealand-breds at Menangle on Saturday night.
