Bob Butt drives Bet N Win (NZ) to take out the $40,000 Listed Future Wealth Sires Stakes Aged Classic.

Bet N Win (NZ) (What The Hill) has big targets in his sights following his excellent win in the $40,000 Listed Future Wealth Sires Stakes Aged Classic (2600m).

The trotter returned to racing in the best possible style when taking out the Addington feature for trainers David and Stacey White and driver Bob Butt.

Bet N Win was purchased by David White for $32,500 when the squaregaiter was offered by breeder-vendors Breckon Farms at the 2021 National Yearling Sales at Karaka.

The four-year-old has always shown plenty of promise and his win at Addington on Friday night showed he has taken his game to the next level.

White syndicated Bet N Win among a big group of owners and they look in for an exciting ride with the trotter after he broke through for his first win at stakes level.

“He has always given us the feel of a good horse and now he is maturing he trots a good horse’s times effortlessly,” David White said.

“We are thrilled to have him and a great bunch of owners and on nights like this having that big group makes it even more fun.”

Bet N Win made a smart beginning in the Listed Sires Stakes Aged Classic before driver Bob Butt settled the trotter into the trail.

When the pair found clear air in the homestraight, Bet N Win dashed along the inner running to a stylish win.

“He is a good horse this one,” Butt said.

The White camp has the Group One Great Square Trot at the Queensland Winter Carnival as Bet N Win’s big future aim.

The trainers are hoping the trotter can continue to build strong form and gain a start in the A$150,000 feature.

“It is the perfect race for him, being a three and four-year-old trot,” White said.

“We’d love to get an invite for that so hopefully a few people from Queensland were watching tonight.”

Bet N Win has another Listed event in his immediate sights.

The White stable will target the upcoming $40,000 Listed NZB Standardbred Uncut Gems Aged Trotters Classic at Addington on May 3, next.
