Entries open for 2020 National Yearling Sale

Perfectly positioned on the trans-Tasman racing calendar, NZB Standardbred’s 2020 National Standardbred Yearling Sale will showcase the very best New Zealand has to offer over four action-packed days of inspections, parades and selling.
Sale dates and venues as follows:
- Auckland Sale at Karaka - 16 & 17 February 2020
- Christchurch Sale at Canterbury Agricultural Park - 18 & 19 February 2020
The 2019 Sale set the bar with record aggregate, median and average delivering a turnover of $12.3 million with 24 sales at or above $100,000 at the close of selling.
The winning format seen at the 2019 Sale will be enhanced for the 2020 edition with the introduction of a second selling session in Christchurch and improved parade formats in both locations. The entry fees remain at 2019 levels.
The Sale will also see the second yearling intake of NZB Standardbred Harness Million Sales Race Series to go through the ring, making them eligible for Series nomination. With its one-off payment structure, the Series received overwhelming support at the 2019 Sale.
