Wheres The Gold (NZ) (Somebeachsomewhere) was simply unstoppable in his victory in the A$60,000 Group Three South Australian Pacing Cup (2645m) at Globe Derby Park on Saturday night.

The NZB Standardbred graduate led throughout the Adelaide feature and proved too tough for his rivals to catch, adding another stakes success to his name.

Wheres The Gold was purchased for $47,500 by Stonewall Stud when he was offered among the Hollis & Robertson Equine Services draft at the 2020 National Yearling Sales at Karaka.

The now Victorian based pacer won three races for Stonewall Stud trainers Steve and Amanda Telfer in a handful of starts in New Zealand.

The pacer has built an outstanding record for leading Australian trainer Emma Stewart, which was extended on Saturday night with his South Australian Cup win.

Driver Allan McDonough used Wheres The Gold’s speed to hold the lead early in the South Australian Pacing Cup.

The pair set a solid tempo in the lead before reeling off fast closing sectionals to score.

In winning, Wheres The Gold held off the big late finish of his fellow NZB Standardbred graduate Platinum Stride (NZ) (Captaintreacherous).

Wheres The Gold and Platinum Stride helped make up a New Zealand bred trifecta in the South Australian Pacing Cup.

Earlier on the Globe Derby Park programme, another NZB Standardbred graduate was in winning action.

Rakero Storm (NZ) (Bettor’s Delight) produced his seventh career victory in Josie Justice Family Plate.
