A brilliant debut victory has shown what a big winning threat Princess Sadie (NZ) (Muscle Mass) will be in the $75,000 Listed NZB Standardbred Harness Million Two-Year-Old Trot (1980m) at Addington on Friday night.

The classy filly is among an outstanding line up of precious trotting talent to contest the fourth edition of the lucrative feature for NZB Standardbred graduates.

Princess Sadie was an outstanding debut winner at Addington recently for trainer-driver Matthew Williamson.

Despite sitting parked for much of her 1980m assignment, the filly unleashed a powerful winning burst to score.

“She’s come through her first start very well, it was a tough run but she has been very well since then,” Williamson said.
“It is a classy field and her wider draw won’t make it easy, but she has the ability to be amongst it at the finish.”

Princess Sadie was purchased by her trainer for just $15,000 at the 2022 National Yearling Sales at Christchurch when she was offered among Laura Smith’s draft.

In her debut victory, the filly narrowly defeated a gallant runner up in Look To Da Stars (NZ) (Andover Hall).

The Mark and Nathan Purdon trained filly looks a big winning threat in the Harness Million Two-Year-Old Trot after securing a key draw in barrier 4.

Look To Da Stars was purchased by the All Stars Racing Stable when she was offered among the White Stable draft at the 2022 National Yearling Sale at Christchurch.

North Island raider Paramount Kiwi (NZ) (Father Patrick) will put her unbeaten record on the line in Friday night’s Listed feature.

Trained and driven by Matthew White, the two-year-old cleared out to notch the latest of her two career wins by an incredible 11 and a half lengths.

Paramount Kiwi was purchased by his trainer for $40,000 when he was offered among the Studholme Bloodstock draft at the 2022 National Yearling Sale at Christchurch.

Bounce N Beyond (NZ) (Majestic Son) looks another key runner in the NZB Standardbred Harness Million Two-Year-Old Trot.

The Robert and Jenna Dunn trained youngster made a mistake in his only career start, but he showed real talent in his trials leading into his debut.

A seriously talented field of squaregaiting talent is set to square off in the $75,000 Listed NZB Standardbred Harness Million Two-Year-Old Trot (1980m) at 5.36pm at Addington on Friday night.
