HRNZ to Offer Complimentary Name Change

Harness Racing New Zealand today announced that it is pleased to support NZB's National Yearling Sale by offering a complimentary name change service for all yearlings purchased at the Sale.

They understand that from time to time purchasers are not always happy with the name of their horse and would like to offer all purchasers the opportunity this year to change the name should you wish to do so. 

The normal fee to change a horses name is $110, however, HRNZ is offering this free of charge, for any horse purchased from this year's NZB National Yearling Sale in either Auckland or Christchurch. 

All they ask from you is that the application to Change a Name form is returned with the completed Transfer of Ownership (which is on the reverse side of the Certificate of Registration). 

The fee to transfer the ownership of the horse is $80 and is required along with both the Transfer of Ownership and application to Change a Name forms, no later than the 30th of April 2019, to qualify for the offer of the free name change.
