2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale COVID-19 Buyer Information

Welcome to the Buyers attendance registration for the 2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale

Buyer attendance at the 2022 National Yearling Sale is subject to pre-approval by NZB Standardbred.

Attendance at NZB Standardbred's 2022 National Yearling Sale is by pre-sale registration only via this page and subject to approval by NZB Standardbred. General admission and children are not permitted.

Attendees must be fully vaccinated and hold a My Vaccine Pass or have a Ministry of Health issued exemption from vaccination.

You must register your interest by no later than Wednesday 9 February.

Please complete for following details to register your interest to attend the 2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale in Auckland on 13 February and/or Christchurch on 14 - 16 February.

Please note that all buyers will also need to register to purchase at the 2022 National Yearling Sale. Buyers can register to purchase by filling out the Buyer Registration form here or may fill in an Appointment of Agent form to purchase on their behalf here.

By submitting this application you agree to abide by the following:
  • Facemasks/face coverings are to be worn in all indoor and outdoor areas. Please note that a face covering is defined by a mask that is attached to the head by loops around the ears or head. This means scarves, bandannas, or t-shirts are not acceptable;
  • Report to a controlled access point on arrival at the Karaka Sales Centre and Canterbury Agricultural Park and present your My Vaccine Pass and appropriate identification;
  • Keep track of where you have been around the grounds and scan in using the New Zealand COVID Tracer App;
  • Only seek access to the areas you are permitted to occupy;
  • Maintain the recommended minimum physical distance from any other person (minimum one metre);
  • Stay home if you are sick;
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow or into a disposable tissue;
  • Increase the frequency of handwashing using hand soap;
  • Increase the frequency cleaning of surfaces, door handles, railings, etc;
  • Use of additional Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary including hand sanitizer, antiseptic wipes, plastic gloves;
  • Attendance is subject to the capacity occupied by registered buyers. Owners may not be able to attend the 2022 National Standardbred Yearling Sale due to the restrictions imposed on NZB Standardbred.
